The Children's Africana Book Awards events will take place on Saturday, October 8 from 11 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art. Children, families, books, and book enthusiasts are encouraged to attend. After a brief welcome and youth performance, attendees will be invited to visit various activities in the museum, including a chance to meet the winners of the 2016 CABA awards.
