School Visit – Oconto Falls, WI

On January 30, author Miranda Paul will join the Washington Middle School students in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin for a day of exploring inspiration and perseverance as she discusses the research and subject matter of her award-winning books such as One Plastic Bag. Although school visits are often closed to the general public, members of the media and press, as well as parents, are invited to contact the school's main office for permission to attend or interview the guest speaker. Summer Community Read – College of Menominee Nation – Keshena, WI

Miranda Paul's book One Plastic Bag is the summer community read for the College of Menominee Nation and library! Join us for a summer wrap-up event on Tuesday, August 15th at the the CMN / Menominee Public Library in Keshena, WI. Time: TBA (late afternoon). Miranda will give a presentation about Isatou Ceesay's recycling efforts to-date, the research involved for the book, and answer questions from community members about writing and global and local environmental activism.
