Wisconsin Library Association Convention

  Join author Miranda Paul and several other SCBWI-Wisconsin authors as they make appearances and sign books for the wonderful libraries in our state (and bordering states)! Miranda will make appearances in the exhibit hall on Wednesday, October 18 from 3-5 pm and on Thursday, October 19 from 10-3 p.m. Come find out what SCBWI is all about, learn how to book a local author for your library programming, or just come and meet and greet our state's authors and illustrators of books for children and teens. Please join Miranda Paul and several participants in the We Need Diverse Books Mentorship program for an evening of mingling and fundraising for WNDB at the Heartland Fall Forum's "Shelf-Talker" cocktail event from 9-11pm  on Wednesday, October 11. A team of WNDB representatives will also host an education roundtable session on Thursday, October 12 from 3:45-4:45 pm. This session will center around diversity resources for booksellers and idea-generation for working with diverse authors and promoting more books that represent all children and teens.
