Jump off the Page – School Visits – Naperville, IL

NapervilleREADS – Jumping off the Page will host events December 6-8 in Naperville, IL. This year’s theme, “United Through Story…What’s Yours?” focuses on the works of 14 children’s authors and illustrators spanning many subjects. Authors include Miranda Paul, Christian Robinson, Matt de la Peña, Selina Alko, Sean Qualls, and more.

A public event for the community featuring all of the 2016 NapervilleREADS authors will be held on Wednesday, December 7 at 7:00 p.m. at Wentz Concert Hall, 171 E. Chicago Ave. on the campus of North Central College in Naperville. This event is free and open to the public.

School visits will take place on December 6, 7, and 8. A list of all participating authors and illustrators can be found in this Chicago Tribune announcement. NapervilleREADS 2016 is a partnership between Jumping Off the Page, Anderson’s Bookshop, Naperville Community Unit School District 203 and Indian Prairie School District 204, Naperville Public Library and Aurora Public Library in addition to our featured publishers: Abrams, Blue Dot Press, Harper Collins, Macmillan, Millbrook Press, Nancy Paulsen, Penguin/Random House, Scholastic, and Simon & Schuster. The NapervilleREADS project is partially supported by a grant from the City of Naperville.
