Maker Faire and Presentation – Auburn, NY

On Thursday, March 28, view Auburn Elementary School students’ environmental maker fair projects! The viewing of the students' eco-projects will take place from 5:30-6:00pm. Then from 6:00-7:00 p.m., attendees will get to hear from all four book creators—Miranda and Baptiste Paul, co-authors, Elizabeth Zunon, illustrator, and environmentalist Farmer Tantoh Nforba! The creators will talk about the making of the book I Am Farmer: Growing an Environmental Movement in Cameroon. A book signing will follow from 7:00-7:30 pm. On April 2, 2019, co-authors Baptiste Paul and Miranda Paul will be joined by environmental hero "Farmer" Tantoh Nforba, grassroots activist from Cameroon, Africa for a half day of presentations at the Appleton Bilingual School in the Appleton, WI. Although author visits at schools are typically closed to the public, parents and/or members of the community and media may contact the school or district office to request permission to attend and/or interview the special guest speakers for a media appearance.
