Come hear One Plastic Bag read aloud by author Miranda Paul and activist Isatou Ceesay from 10:30-11:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14th at the Library of Congress!

Geared for youth ages 5-9, this story time presentation will include a reading, a recycling activity for elementary-aged children, and a chance to ask questions about the book-making process. Children will also get to see a short presentation on what life is like for students their age who live in Gambia, Africa.

This special presentation will be held at the Library of Congress Young Readers Center in Washington, DC. Enter the lower level and come to the YRC located at G29 on the guide map.

Due to an occupancy review of the Center by the Library of Congress Safety Services Office,  the number of participants allowed is limited to 50. Free admission stickers will be distributed on a first-come, first-served basis beginning at 10 a.m. Thank you for understanding and we look forward to your participation. Please call the YRC at 202-707-1950 to check for any changes to this schedule.
