This month, Little Free Library celebrated its tenth anniversary—and Miranda Paul commemorated founder Todd Bol and his mother’s legacy by planting a Little Free Library limited edition replica of the first library at her home in Green Bay, Wisconsin. Little Libraries, Big Heroes, the picture book that chronicles the Little Free Library movement from its first installment to its worldwide spread releases on September 3, 2019 from Clarion Books (Houghton Mifflin Harcourt). In other news, the I Am Farmer tour wrapped up in a big way—at Book Expo America, with a signing and giveaway of the book as well as a preview of Miranda’s editorial debut Thanku: Poems of Gratitude. Thanku features 33 poems, each written in a different poetic form, and written by a diverse group of children’s authors. Illustrations are gorgeously rendered by Marlena Myles, and the book releases on September 3 from Lerner Publishing (Millbrook Press).
