Miranda Paul is one of a select group of authors who have been chosen to attend the 2019 LaunchPad Astronomy Workshop at the University of Wyoming! For six days, Miranda will be working on a new science (Space!!) manuscript at Launch Pad, a workshop for established writers held in beautiful high-altitude Laramie, Wyoming.

Launch Pad aims to provide a “crash course” for the attendees in modern astronomy science through guest lectures, and observation through the University of Wyoming’s professional telescopes.

Launch Pad has in the past been supported by NASA, the National Science Foundation, Uwingu, the Space Telescope Science Institute, and generous individual donors. They currently enjoy funding from the Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America.
