SCBWI Members $20 and Non Members $35 on Tuesday, April 3rd at The Spaghetti Warehouse in Dallas from 7:00-8:00 p.m. Join us for a dutch treat dinner and learn secrets to a successful school visit.  (Registration required. Register online here.)

Miranda Paul has been writing since her 2nd grade teacher, Miss Harrison, encouraged her to write her first books. She grew up in a small town in Wisconsin that didn’t have author visits, so Miranda mistakenly thought all authors had already passed. What a treat to learn there are many living authors and that she too could become one! Today she has published many books and regularly visits schools to encourage children and teens to write as well.

Baptiste Paul is a native of Saint Lucia who enjoys sharing island culture and Creole language with anyone who will listen. He also writes stories for children with his wife, Miranda. Together, they have three books coming soon The Field, Adventures to School, and I am Farmer.
