Read About Robots! Morning Library Program

Author Miranda Paul will join many children’s authors, librarians, booksellers and kids as we celebrate READ ABOUT ROBOTS day on October 11th! Celebrate with Miranda in Green Bay, Wisconsin as she hosts a special STEM field-trip-to-the-library program with area schools at the Brown County Library, and a public robot craft program in the evening at the Central Branch. Details below:

TUESDAY, Oct 11 MORNING SHOW – 9:30-10:30 am; AFTERNOON SHOW 1:30 PM (newly added!)

Read About Robots Day with Award-Winning Author Miranda Paul and
Trainbots School groups and home-schoolers are invited to this free,
high-energy presentation. Miranda will reveal a few ways that authors
are like inventors. She’ll also read from her picture book Trainbots and
talk about how the rhythm, sentence fragments and illustrations
support this train-robot mashup. Copies of Miranda’s books can be
pre-ordered for autographing. Groups of 10 or more must call ahead
to reserve seating: 448-5846.

Read About Robots Day Crafting/Inventing Night Drop in for robot
crafts and stories. Meet local author Miranda Paul as she reads and
talks about her new book Trainbots. Free and open to the public.

Please pre-purchase books and bring them to the event(s) if you would like an autograph.
